Position: Graphic Design Intern

Term: August 2018 - November 2018

B-Unlimited Inc. invites students majoring in Graphic Design, Illustration, or Photography to apply for an internship with our Art department. Applicants should demonstrate an interest in branding, layout, typography and visual organization. All applicants should be in their sophomore or junior year and demonstrate the ability to balance an internship with good academic performance.

B-Unlimited has offered custom, one-of-a-kind artwork and exceptionally high quality screen printing services in our area for more than 20 years. B-Unlimited specializes in comprehensive creative services for screen-printing and holds a University of Arkansas Collegiate License, an official Greek license, and licenses with 100 other universities in the United States. A large percentage of B-Unlimited’s revenue comes from business with colleges and universities, especially Greek organizations. B-Unlimited also develops and produces merchandise for corporations, non-profit organizations, and the retail market. Our creative department has developed an extensive portfolio of approved logos for our customers as well as over 5,000 pieces of custom artwork for production.

Working at B-Unlimited is a unique experience because we are a small company. Interns have the unique opportunity to strategize, create products and analyze business activities in an environment that is transparent, mutual, and encouraging. We have a fun environment that allows students to get involved with all aspects of each project without the stress of a corporate environment. The learning experience is unlike many others. Our interns will leave with invaluable experience, content for a great portfolio, and business contacts for their future. Some of our past interns are now part of our full-time team.

The Design Intern will primarily focus on continuing to develop the B-Unlimited brand and assist the entire art team, with our Art Team Leaders. Interns activities will include, proof set-up, artist assistant, product research, project completion, design brainstorming, etc.

We are located on School Avenue, close to the University. Although we are flexible with class schedules, we would love students with more open schedules. Other skills we are looking for, but are not required, include proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or similar programs.
